The College of Arts and Letters offers a myriad of concerts, shows, lectures and symposiums each year. Among these are our signature events, the Festival of the Arts in April, including U-Create! and Sunday Funday, and U-Nite! each fall.

Festival of the Arts
Since 1992, the Festival of the Arts offers creative performances, exhibits, lectures and master classes, showcasing the region’s creative and cultural excellence. The Festival highlights what our students learn in their classes and continues that exploration, appreciation, expression, action and creativity outside the classroom and into their futures as alumni.
The popular U-Create! allows the College of Arts and Letters to bring its talent to the literal streets of Downtown Sacramento. Since 2015, this arts showcase features live music, dance performances and interactive offerings from teams of students and faculty. Our community partners include Verge Center for the Arts and Beatnik Studios.
The finale of the Festival of the Arts, Sunday Funday, is an opportunity to welcome the community for one day to experience our creative and explorative programs of study. Sunday Funday offers activities for all ages and includes games, entertainment, and hands-on art projects spread out across the campus.
U-Nite! is a blowout celebration of the arts, a collaboration of creativity and scholarship between the nationally celebrated faculty of Sacramento State’s College of Arts and Letters and the prestigious Crocker Art Museum. Scholars, artists, performers and speakers will fill the galleries with ideas and art meant to inspire and dazzle, provoke and entertain. Join us for the sixth U-Nite! on Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Crocker between 5 and 9 p.m. Admission is free for Crocker members and Sacramento State students, faculty and staff. General admission for nonmembers.
