Emeritus Faculty Frank LaPena taught in the departments of Art and Ethnic Studies at Sacramento State for 30 years and was a major figure in contemporary Native culture. Please join us on March 5th as we pay tribute to his memory and legacy. Spencer Keeton Cunningham and Richard Bluecloud Castaneda, two young, high profile Native American artists who co-founded the Indigenous Arts Coalition in San Francisco, will give a talk about their work as artists and community organizers as a tribute to Frank.
