Please note that submitting an application is in no way a guarantee of an interview or a position. Additionally, part-time appointments are based on department need, which can vary each semester, and therefore lecturer appointments should not be considered permanent positions. Applicants may be required to give a teaching demonstration prior to consideration for an appointment.

To Apply: To be considered, an applicant must submit a cover letter expressing their interest in a position with the department, their professional and academic qualifications, their availability, and specific RPTA courses they feel qualified to teach (professional and/or academic qualifications should support these choices). Applicants may include developed syllabi used at other institutions to support their ability to teach. Applicants should also submit a current resume with listed references (minimum of three). Application materials should be sent electronically to the RPTA Department Administrative Support Coordinator, Geraldine Nicholson (gnichols@csus.edu), subject line: Part-Time Lecturer Application.
