Guest Tickets

There is a ticket requirement for guests to attend Commencement ceremonies. Tickets are free of charge, unique to each college ceremony, and only valid at the Commencement ceremony listed on the ticket. Graduates do not need tickets for themselves. Children under age 3 who will sit on a guardian's lap during the ceremony do not require a ticket.

For 2018 Spring Commencement ceremonies, graduates can claim up to nine guest tickets. All students eligible to graduate can claim their guest tickets by logging into MySacState and clicking the Commencement Tickets link under the Academics section of their Student Center.

Click here for a step-by-step guide for claiming guest tickets.

Please note: Students who have petitioned to participate in the Spring 2018 Commencement ceremonies will be contacted via email if and/or when they are granted access to claim guest tickets. This email will also contain special instructions on how approved petitioners can claim tickets.

The deadline to claim your initial nine tickets was April 25. If you didn’t claim your tickets by the deadline, you will not have access to your full allotment of nine tickets.
