Hornet Family kicks off a successful Spring 2019 semester

Students Despite chilly temperatures, the first day of spring – the Spring 2019 semester, that is – brought the warmth of the Hornet Family back to campus on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Sacramento State is once again abuzz with energy and excitement, as some 30,000 students make their way to and from class, reunite with beloved faculty and friends, and dive into this semester’s courses. At the same time, thousands of new transfer students are just beginning their journeys to Sac State degrees.

A number of seniors have taken to social media to celebrate this as their “last First Day of School.” They’re counting the days until graduation, with ceremonies set for May 17-19 at Golden 1 Center.
