Sac State boosts its commitment to a more inclusive campus

Students walking Sacramento State is committed to understanding our campus and responding to the community’s needs. A recent campus climate survey underscores the University’s efforts to embrace students of all backgrounds and ensure that all members of the Hornet Family feel welcome.

The survey, sent in February 2018 to administrators, staff, and faculty, included questions about employees’ experiences while working at Sac State, their opinions about the University, and specific inquiries related to demographics. President Robert S. Nelsen wants the process to continue.

“I encourage all members of our campus community to review … the survey and provide feedback on how we can make our campus more inclusive and welcoming,” Nelsen said.
