Homecoming Events for Alumni
Homecoming is about celebrating the Hornet family and reconnecting. We are excited to bring the Hornet Family together again this fall. Hornets everywhere are invited to get involved in our mix of activities. Stingers up!

Homecoming Food Drive
October 23-28
All donations benefit the ASI Food Pantry. Monetary donations welcome in addition to food products. The foods we are seeking can be found here. Drop-off times will be Mon/Tue/Thur/Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Harper Alumni Center. Or at the Homecoming Festival on Saturday, October 28 from 3-6 p.m.
Art Exhibit: Won Ju Lim - Castings
Library Gallery, Sacramento State
Tuesday-Friday, 10 AM-4 PM
Los Angeles-based artist Won Ju Lim investigates liminal spaces through sculpture, installation, light and shadow. Castings presents a 15-year survey of the artist's work and features a new large-scale installation comprised of over 200 architectural models and objects.
Stupid F**king Bird
Studio Theatre, Sacramento State
Performances October 26-November 5
In this edgy, funny, and compassionate reboot of Anton Chekhov’s famous play, The Seagull, Aaron Posner has created a strong, energetic ensemble piece, a hilarious and moving meditation on love, life, and art. Evening performances at 7:00 PM; Sunday's at 2:00 PM.

Sokiku Nakatani Tea Room
The tea room and garden provide a unique way for students and community members to study Japanese aesthetics and traditional arts, built particularly around the time-honored art form of Chado, the Way of Tea. Space fills quickly.

The Carlsen Center is excited to bring you an opportunity to learn from Josh David Miller (JDM), the founder of The Right Box and the creator of Traction Thinking, in a two-part workshop series called Mastering Customer Discovery: Create Products Customers Can’t Live Without.

"The Seen Iranian Woman" is an exhibit aimed to bring awareness to what it's been like to be an Iranian woman in recent times through a showcase of fashion, art, poetry and history. Exhibit dates: October 23- November 16. Opening Lecture & Reception: Thursday, October 27, 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
Harvest Fest Open Climb

Come enjoy fall fun at the Challenge Center! This harvest festival event will feature arts & crafts, games, booths, and climbing! The ropes course on campus (behind Yosemite Hall) will be open to climb. FREE! Consider bringing a canned food donation for the ASI Food Pantry.

2023 Future Hornet Day

We are delighted to invite students and their families to visit us at our annual Future Hornet Day. Prospective students wil have the apportunity to meet with campus staff, students, and faculty. There will be tours, a resource fair, application workshops, and a transfer lounge. Open to any high school or community college student, returning student and Spring 2024 admitted students. Parents, guardians, family members and educators are encouraged to attend.
