Homecoming is about celebrating the Hornet family and reconnecting. We are excited to bring the Hornet Family together again this fall. Hornets everywhere are invited to get involved in our mix of activities. Stingers up!

Homecoming Food Drive

Homecoming Food Drive
October 24-29

All donations benefit the ASI Food Pantry. Monetary donations welcome in addition to food products. The foods we are seeking can be found here. Drop-off times will be Mon/Tue/Thur/Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Harper Alumni Center. Or at the Homecoming Festival on Saturday, October 29 from 3-6 p.m.

Blood Drive

Homecoming Blood Drive
October 25 & 26 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. each day
University Union Ballroom, Sacramento State

The University Union, The WELL, Associated Students, Inc. and Vitalant will be hosting a Homecoming Week blood drive Tuesday, October 25 through Wednesday, October 26 in the University Union’s Ballroom from 10am-4pm each day. Walk ins are welcome but reservations are strongly encouraged.

University Union Redwood Room

Sac State's version of the popular game show brought to you by UNIQUE. This event is FREE and in-person. If you drive to campus, you will need to purchase a parking permit, please visit the event page for details. All ages welcome.

Reception & Art Exhibit featuring Molly Devlin
Thursday, Oct. 27, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

The University Union Gallery is excited to present a new exhibit featuring work by Molly Devlin. Admission to the Gallery is FREE and open to the general public. Molly Devlin's work will be on display October 24-November 17. Only during the reception on Thursday, October 27, parking will be free on the top floor of Parking Structure 3.

Virtual Entrepreneurship Toolkit Webinar
Thursday, Oct. 27, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Hosted by the Carlsen Center via Zoom

This Virtual Entrepreneurship Toolkit Series guides participants through hands-on activities to build an understanding of proven startup tools and apply them to their own businesses. This session is focused on understanding how to get your offering to the market through the correct channels.

Global Diversity & Investment Summit

The Global Diversity and Investment Summit
Friday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Carlsen Center (Library 1520) @ Sacramento State

Functioning as the economic institution for Black economic mobility as well as moral well-being of the African American community, Black Churches helped to create the first major Black financial institutions. Join us for a Black Economic Empowerment conversation brought to you by Black Entrepreneurship Project, NorCal SBDC and Carlsen Center at Sacramento State.

Feel Good Friday: Harvest Festival & Open Climb
Friday, Oct. 28, 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Challenge Center @ Sacramento State

Come get spooky at the Challenge Center! This harvest festival event will feature arts & crafts, games, booths, and climbing! This open climb is free. Costumes welcome! Just make sure your costume is safe to climb in and won't get snagged on wood or in hardware. Closed-toed shoes are required. The minimum age to climb is 8. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and have waivers signed by their parent/guardian.
