Nadine Braunstein earned her PhD in Medical Nutrition Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine, a MS in Dietetics from the MGH Institute of Health Professions, and a BS in Dietetics from Drexel University. Nadine was a 2013-2014 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellow where she worked in the office of a US Senator and supported the 2015 US Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee. She was the Dietetic Internship Director at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst from 2005-2009. She had a private practice in Brookline, MA for over 20 years. Nadine served on the Legislative and Public Policy Committee of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics from 2015-2017.  Currently Nadine serves on the policy panel for the California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and as the policy co-chair for the Northern Area district. Her professional interests include health, food and nutrition policy, food security/sustainability, oral health, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, complementary and alternative nutrition and health professions education.
