Areas of specialty: My research interests are nutrition assessment involving dietary intake methodology, anthropometry, and functional status evaluation; clinical implications of malnutrition and malnutrition assessment using the nutrition-focused physical examination. I am also interested in qualitative studies involving focus group methodology and research investigating the impact of acculturation on dietary behaviors and health attitudes.
