Honors in Action

The students of the Honors Program lead and participate in a number of community outreach efforts as well as programmatic outings for Honors family building.

March For Our Lives (2018)

The Honors curriculum encourages civic engagement. One way to participate is to engage in peaceful protest. Honors students participated in the March for Our Lives protest at the State Capitol, March 2018.

Students participate in various events coordinated by their student-run Honors Committee where they get to connect with each other and decompress from their classes.

Park Clean-Up (2015)

Honors Students with collected trash after the Park Clean Up

As a program, we strive to give back to our local Sacramento community. One way we achieve this is participating in the annual Great American River Park Clean-Up where students beautify the American River by collecting and disposing of trash.
