Submit a Suggestion

When rehiring a student employee, the hiring manager must submit these three (3) documents to the SEO via email at or through campus mail, zip 6032.

1. SEPTF (if applicable, attach job description)
2. Hiring Manager Agreement
3. Background Check Worksheet

Student employee will receive Employment Confirmation Notice via their SacLink email within 48 hours of the SEO receiving the Hiring Manager’s Forms. The hiring manager will be copied on the email.

Students cannot begin working until they have received this notice.

Please note that students do not need to come to HR when being rehired.

A rehired student employee must have worked for the University within the last 12 months. It is not necessary to repost the job through Hornet Career Connection.
