Congressional Quarterly Library

By Ben Amata

Congressional Quarterly Library consists of two electronic publications: CQ Weekly and CQ Researcher.

CQ Weekly is a weekly magazine that covers Congress by providing news, articles, and congressional voting.

CQ Researcher is a source on the most current and controversial issues of the day. Each report consists of an abstract (brief summary), executive summary, the issues, background, chronology, current situation, outlook (future areas of research), bibliography, the next step, notes, and related stories (full text information from other relevant sources).

They are freely available for CSUS student and faculty use only through the CSUS Library's Home Page (IP Authentication exists for valid CSUS users using the campus' internet connection).
