PHIL 112 History of Ethics

Welcome!

Course Description
An investigation of the main approaches to ethics in Western moral philosophy with an emphasis on Plato, Aristotle, Hume, Kant and Mill (3 units). This course satisfies General Education Area C3: Introduction to the Humanities and the Advanced Study Writing Intensive requirements. This course is also approved for the Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies Program.

Pre-requisit: Passing score on the Writing Proficiency Exam or successful completion of ENGL 109M or 109W (absolutely no exceptions).
