Wendy has a bachelor of science degree from the University of California at Davis in Dietetics with a minor in Exercise Physiology.  She completed her dietetic internship at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco.  Before completing a doctoral degree in nutrition from the University of California at Davis, she practiced as a registered clinical dietitian in acute care, outpatient services and in research at the University of California Davis Medical Center for 8 years.  She now enjoys being the dietetic internship director and teaching nutrition courses at the California State University, Sacramento.
