Dates:
The conference will begin
Wednesday evening, June 18, 2003, with a reception (light snacks and drinks)
and opening remarks. Sessions begin Thursday morning. The closing town meeting
will be Sunday, June 22, 2003, following morning sessions.
Conference Registration
Fee: $110
The deadline for
conference registration is May 15, 2003.
In past conferences, attendees have found discussing their work in an informal
setting especially valuable. A number of group meals will be included as part
of the registration fee to encourage that interaction. Link

Proposals:
The deadline for proposals is February 7, 2003.
Proposals should
include a 200- to 400-word abstract and indicate the type or format of presentation,
presentation time requirements, and audio-visual needs. The proposal should
indicate the current status of the work submitted. Presenters must be registered
for the conference. Send proposals to David Wagner on the form attached or by
e-mail. At last yearıs conference, suggestions for innovative presentations
included a modified poster session with brief presentations followed by feedback.
Also, special topics panels were suggested, including the pedagogy of visual
communication, favorite teaching exercises, current technology applications,
and perception and aesthetics. Consider organizing such panels or presenting
in an alternative format. Include details in your proposal. Link

Rooms
must be reserved by mid-April.
