Professor Mahmood joined the faculty of Civil Engineering in 1994. Prior to joining the faculty, he had about 10 years of experience with the private sector and California State Government. Professor Mahmood was elected as the Director of Office of Water Programs in 1997. Dr. Mahmood was elected as the department chair in 2003. Dr. Mahmood is a registered Civil Engineer in California.
