Introduction

  • Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be living in a space station far above the earth, light years away from all you know.  Here’s  your chance to explore the world beyond your own.

Task

  • Create a journal that will account for one week aboard a space station.  Each day will have an activity that benefits the world as a whole.

Process

·      You are going to create a day-by-day journal that will briefly detail your life aboard a space station.

·      You will account for your activities such as sleeping, eating, etc…

·      You will have one activity each day that benefits the world somehow, such as an experiment, fixing the space station, discovery of a new planet etc…

·      Each day will be written in correct paragraph and sentence form.  You will describe in detail your own experience.

Evaluation

·      You will be graded on your creativity and imaginative approach to this assignment.  You will be graded on sentence and paragraph structure.

Conclusion

·      The purpose of this assignment is to get you familiar with exploring a world outside of your own via the internet and helping to create a journal that is imaginative to get the student to create while writing.  The emphasis is not on science, but on creative writing.
