Introduction

A robbery took place at your local library and someone was arrested based on the surveillance camera. The problem is that the woman arrested (Melissa) was on more than one surveillance camera at the same time. Melissa is released from prison because the surveillance tapes counteract each other so they are unsure of where she really was. The police decide to put her on house arrest because they do not hae any other suspects. House arrest means she is unable to leave the house except for going to school. Melissa is very upset because she did not rob the library and worried that there is a criminal who looks like her. She asks her adopted parents if they will do some research to see if they can find out who this person is. After days of research her parents find that Melissa is an identical twin that was separated from her sister at birth. Both of the sisters have been living no more than thirty miles apart from each other but have never crossed paths until the robbery took place at the library.
