WARNING!

Introduction

Communication has shut down at your school.  There is a print-eating monster that devours all writing.  If he catches you communicating with teachers or friends in print he will eat you and your words.  You need to warn your friends without talking or writing in print.  What can you do? 

Task

Your task is to figure out a way to warn your friends about the print-eating monster without getting caught talking or writing in print.  You may need to use a code.

Process

Go to the “Braille Bug” Braille Bug website and click on “Games and Secret Messages.”

Click on “Secret Message.”

Type your message and click “See it in braille and send.”

Use the marker and paper provided to write your warning in braille.

Evaluation

Is your message readable?

Will it warn your friend?

Conclusion

The print-eating monster is no longer shutting down communication at your school.  There were very few casualties due to all of the warnings sent by students.  Good job!
