- Instructions for portfolios:
- On the outside, front cover, glue a white piece of paper with
your name and roster number on it.The paper must be large enough to have room for grades
to be written on it. You may submit your previous folder (with previous
pages removed), but you should cross out your previous grade and comments.
- You must use a flat binder that has tabs to bend and hold punched
paper in place.
- Entries must be typed or very clearly printed in ink.
- Unless specified otherwise, Writing must be
in your own words. Copying from the web or from some one
else will get you no credit for the assignment.Turning in a portfolio
that someone else did will get you an F in this class.
- Use one and only one page per entry. No extra pages.Use one side of each page only.
- The entry number must be at the upper right hand corner of
the page. Your name must be in the upper left corner of each
page.
- Pages must be in order, with the first page on top (at the front).
- Portfolios are due on the date posted; after
then, those turned in up to the start of the next class session will
receive half the grade, no credit after that time.
- Where appropriate, you must use complete sentences
and paragraphs and correct English grammar.
- Directions posted on the website must be precisely
followed to receive full credit
- The target date is the date by which you should
have completed and assignment. Doing an assignment before that date
will give you the most benefit for learning material and preparing for
exams.
- Do not expect to get help with assignments
after the target date for an assignment. Assignments should be done
before that date. Problems with site access must be reported to me through
email before the target date to get alternate instructions to you.
- Do not include pages from previous portfolio
submissions.
- A point will be deducted for each of the above instructions that you
fail to follow. "nfi" (not following instructions) will be
written on your portfolio when returned to you.
