English 190V: Great Drama
on Video
California State
University, Sacramento
Course
Description
Why
Take This Course
Some benefits of online learning:
- Each unit of study -- each play and each
assignment -- can be completed according to your own
schedule. Rent the videos and view in the evenings and
you won't be watching television. You'll be doing
homework!
- You'll meet your classmates the first week of
classes and every 4th week thereafter. You will
interact with your classmates and the instructor via
E-mail. You will be audience participant, drama
student and theater critic all at the same
time.
Technology
Requirements
Students will need an electronic mail account
and computer access to the Web. All CSUS students
enrolled in one or more units can create a
SacLink account for
electronic mail and Internet services. For further
information on SacLink check the UCCS documentation page
at http://www.csus.edu/uccs/document/document.htm.
Although a home computer with a high speed modem running
Netscape or Internet Explorer would be beneficial,
students can use the Web from one of the campus
student labs.
