Internet Programs & Reduced Cost Options
Comcast Internet Essentials Program
Comcast has expanded their Internet Essentials' coverage to include Federal Pell Grant recipients within areas where it's available.
FCC Affordable Connectivity Program
Qualifying households are able to apply for the FCC's Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides significant discounts on monthly internet service to eligible households whose members have received a Federal Pell Grant:
- Discount of up to $30 per month towards internet service for eligible households
- Up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands
- Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers (must contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price).
