Your eduroam account goes with you! You can use your same SacLink login credentials to connect at any participating eduroam location without roaming charges.
Internet Service Provider Resources
To support connectivity, internet providers like Comcast have been offering free or discounted services to low-income families and households with students, and a helpful zip code lookup tool to locate free outdoor Wi-Fi hotspots near you.
Internet Programs & Reduced Cost Options
Comcast Internet Essentials Program
Comcast has expanded their Internet Essentials' coverage to include Federal Pell Grant recipients within areas where it's available.
FCC Affordable Connectivity Program
Qualifying students/households are able to apply for the FCC's Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) administered by internet service provider Excess Telecom. The program provides an $11 tablet device and a free* or discounted monthly internet service plan to eligible households whose members have received a Federal Pell Grant or participate in a qualifying government assistance program:
- Discount of up to $30 per month towards internet service for eligible households (up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands)
- An $11 tablet that can be used as a hotspot
- A free* 15Gb plan (or option to upgrade to discounted plans)
