Located at the base of lush mountains of the Mu-cha tea district in the southern part of Taipei City, National Chengchi University (NCCU) has the appeal of both a vibrant and invigorating cosmopolitan city, as well as the peace and beauty of nature. NCCU offers a perfect environment for both study and exploration.
In recent years, NCCU was ranked number one for its friendly learning environment for students studying in English, offering over six hundred classes conducted in English. The international student program has comfortable housing available near the campus with many clean and affordable small restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores in the direct vicinity. Many bus lines stop at the front gate of campus, and the Mass Rapid Transit has a station just a short walk or bus-ride away.

Academic Eligibility
- 2.75 GPA or higher at the time of application
- One semester completed at Sacramento State
- Sophomore or higher standing (60+ units completed)

OIC will open 3 credits part-time Mandarin course free of charge to exchange students. Students will normally take 3-5 courses from their major, and one Mandarin course.

Housing Options
Exchange student can choose housing in the online application system, and CUE will help arrange accordingly. Please note, if students do not get their first choice, CUE will go to student's second choice for arrangement.
On Campus Dormitory – 4-person room for undergraduate: around NT$11,000/semester + NT$1,000 Deposit
Off Campus International House – limited single suites and double suites are available. NT$38,250 per person per semester (Double Suite, room shared by 2 persons) + refundable deposit of one-month rent, phone call, and electricity fees (if exceeds the free basic quota)
