Interested in purchasing new technology equipment or software for the classroom or your business unit? The Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Procurement Request Form is your first step in the evaluation process.
- Ensures compliance. Prospective technology equipment and/or software is evaluated to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities, and that they support state and federal laws that require campuses within the CSU system to meet accessibility and security guidelines.
- Information Security. When level 1 or level 2 University data, user accounts or access to critical information resources are involved, a basic to comprehensive information security review and vendor security posture review are performed to meet federal and state compliance requirements, CSU policies and standards as well as campus policies and standards. All campus and auxiliary business units as well as our vendors must follow these policies and standards.
- Consultation services. The IRT Project members and ICT Procurement members are available to discuss how a new technology or software may integrate with existing campus resources, provide alternatives if needed, and serve as a resource throughout the process from request to acquisition and thereafter. Contact Us as soon as you recognize the need for a solution.
