Teaching and learning for all Hornets! The Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) supports a range of technology tools, services and division resources to ensure a University-wide standard of accessibility for all staff, students, and faculty – regardless of disability.

  • Tech for all, learning for all! Sacramento State offers tools and resources to support all learning needs, such as screen readers, captioning services, and accessible pedagogy resources – with an eye to future innovations in technology to bridge teaching and learning gaps.
  • Connects the tools, resources and teams to support campus-wide accessibility. The ATI Initiative unites campus divisions such as Services to Students with Disabilities, Information Resources & Technology, Facilities, Procurement, and more in common purpose to support all faculty, staff, and students.
  • Procurement evaluation and consultation services. The ATI Team offers dedicated consultation and evaluation of new classroom technologies to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Accessible training resources are available to create accessible curriculum, emails, websites, and other learning materials.

Clarify dialogue, increase accessibility – video captioning ensures your content is ADA compliant and engaging for viewers of all abilities, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Self-service or by-request video captioning services are available to enhance educational access.
