Join Team IRT as the Technology Support Coordinator at California State University, Sacramento! Reporting to the Customer Services Director, your role is as exactly as the title sounds, and so much more. You’ll provide just-in-time, break/fix and hands-on technology training and support, connect campus units with the right resources, services, and personnel to supplement support or services, and cross-train colleagues to help guide technology services and support. You’ll collaborate with leaders, colleagues, and stakeholders to develop technology roadmaps, strategies, plans, and solutions based on goals, needs, and priorities of campus units. Beyond IRT Service Desk duties, you’ll serve as a process improvement champion, driving meaningful adoption and use of technologies that meet the needs of faculty, staff and students. You’ll be personally invested in client satisfaction and issue resolution, help manage expectations to deliver quality, sustainable solutions, and ensure that campus units have the training and other job aids they need to use technology effectively.

Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least two years’ experience providing and/or coordinating technology support services for a diverse group of end users.

Hiring range
$4,372 to $6,500 monthly; starting salary for well qualified candidates will typically be near the mid-point of the hiring range.

Join the IRT Operations and Network Services (ONS) team as a Cloud Infrastructure Analyst! This position provides technical expertise in a highly distributed technical environment at California State University, Sacramento. As part of a cross-functional team, the Cloud Infrastructure Analyst is primarily responsible for the administration, operation, configuration, and security of the universities’ private and public cloud (Azure, AWS, Vcloud or GCD) infrastructure design and architecture. You’ll work closely with campus stakeholders to develop, plan, project manage, support, and secure critical IT infrastructures such as on-prem storage and server virtualization environment, as well as lead efforts to develop public cloud solutions that fit strategic goals. Guided by CSU and university standards and practices, this position will collaborate across IRT to solve problems and contribute to IT planning and decision making.

Technology Business Analyst / Process Documentation Specialist

Join Team IRT as the Business Process Analyst and Process Documentation Specialist at California State University, Sacramento! Reporting to the Senior Director of Planning and Strategic Projects, you’ll lead and coordinate business planning efforts, and analyze business processes and practices through the lens of design and implementation of information technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives. You’ll set documentation standards, establish document management/control, and prepare technical and operational documentation including systems, processes, and work flow descriptions and diagrams. Developing standards, defining business analysis best practices, validating and verifying requirements, identifying solution options, and recommending improvements are essential duties.

You’ll work collaboratively with technical and non-technical users in IRT, campus strategic partners, faculty, staff, students, and vendors to improve all documentation that pertains to systems, applications, infrastructure and data management. Exceptional communications, technical and lay-term writing, and people skills are key as you will help develop, deliver and improve required documentation for a variety of audiences and needs. Your approach should be well-rounded in technical know-how and the soft skills of listening and responding effectively to customer needs.
