Charlene M. McKoy
With a career specializing in higher education financial planning and processing, Charlene guides IRT’s financial and operational business needs, and campus-wide strategic projects. She is responsible for primary financial and budgetary assistance, planning, and resource allocation for the IRT division, and works collaboratively with executive management to forecast and provide oversight of both financial and human resources assigned to division and cross-division IT projects. Seasoned in trends, spends and fiscal transparency, Charlene is responsible for cost analysis research, investments, producing reports and supporting strategic initiatives. In addition, Charlene supervises, trains, and champions the professional development of IRT’s administrative support team responsible for procurement, accounts payable/receivable, travel, and payroll. She also serves as department liaison on campus initiatives such as Title IX, the Diversity Task Force, Public Record initiatives and administrative system development. Previously, Charlene served as a business services manager for the City of Sacramento and in higher education roles at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and Stanford University.
Charlene holds a BS and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and is a member of the National Association of Female Executives.
