Marc Fox

Interim Associate Vice President for Systems, Applications, and Security

Since 1992, Marc Fox has supported the critical systems that help make Sacramento State work. As Director of Enterprise Systems, he leads a technical team through the implementation, enhancement and maintenance of the University’s Financials, Human Resources, and Student Administration applications in the CSU Common Management System (CMS). As Director of Enterprise Systems, Marc leads the team responsible for maintenance and enhancement of the Student Center, Faculty Center and Employee Center in CMS, as well as supporting strategic campus initiatives including the launch of Smart Planner, Academic Requirements Report, Progress To Degree and Financial Aid Meter. Previously, Marc supported the implementation of the University’s Student Information System, formerly known as SISPlus, and also oversaw the implementation of SacVault, Cognos, Data Warehouse, Astra Schedule and many other ancillary systems supporting critical University needs. Marc’s broad professional information systems management background includes roles in manufacturing, marketing, healthcare, banking, and higher education.

Marc earned his BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Applications and Systems from California State University, Fresno in 1985. He also earned an MS in Business Administration (Management Information Systems) from California State University, Sacramento in 2001.
