Orientation

Orientation is required for first year and transfer students. For first year students, orientation is a two-day session, while it is a one all-day session for transfer students

During the major advising segment of Orientation, each attendee will receive an individual advising form based on your past/current course work. Our office has  access to transcripts that was sent to Admissions when students applied to the University in the fall. Other course work after you have been admitted to the University have not been recorded. You are welcome to bring unofficial transcripts with you to Orientation.

By the end of your orientation day, students will know exactly what they need in order to complete your BA in Liberal Studies. In addition, a brief introduction to the Sacramento State Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program will take place. For questions about Liberal Studies major advising, email Kristen Anderegg at kristena@csus.edu
