CSUS asks students for a safety pledge

Spending a fun and safe spring break is a top priority for college students and California State University, Sacramento gets set to help with its "Make the Break" fair March 20.

"Make the Break" is all day, Wednesday, March 20 at the Library Quad. Students will be asked to take the "Safe Spring Break Pledge," a promise that they will not drink and drive, let their friends drink and drive or ride with an impaired driver. Students who take the pledge will be entered in a drawing to win a brand new Jeep Wrangler as well as other prizes.

"We want to encourage out students to make healthy choices and at the same time have a fun Spring Break," says Heather Dunn Carlton, CSUS Alcohol Advisory Council Chair and Students Activities Assistant Director.
