Sacramento Ballet Presents
Season Finale at CSUS

The Sacramento Ballet brings it grace, precision and fluidity to California State University, Sacramento with its season finale performance, Modern Masters, May 3 - 6 at the CSUS University Theatre.

The opening night performance is at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 3 with additional performances at 8 p.m., Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5. A Sunday matinee will be held on May 6 at 2 p.m.

Under the dynamic leadership of the Sacramento Ballet's artistic director Ron Cunningham, Modern Masters is a festival of five contemporary pieces destined to become tomorrow's classics.

The program features David Parson's The Envelope, a comedic modern ballet; John Clifford's Fantasies, a romantic ballet; Thor Stutkowski's Espresso, a dynamic tour de force of neo-classic dance; the premiere of Nolan T'Sami's Wan Chai Moon, a seductive ballet with Asian themes; and the premiere of an explosive ballet et to an original score by composer Jermoe Begin.

In addition to raising money for future CSUS dance scholarships, the event will celebrate the merger of the CSUS theatre and dance departments.
