Sacramento State and the Sacramento Sports Commission will co-host the 2007 NCAA Division I Outdoor Men's and Women's Track and Field Championships, Wednesday through Saturday, June 6-9, at Sacramento State in the A.G. Spanos Sports Complex. The event is expected to bring 1,600 student athletes, coaches and staff from around the country as well as thousands of spectators to our campus during the four-day event. Additionally, the final two days of track action will be televised live throughout the nation.
During the four days of competition, State University Drive West will be closed to through traffic between Stadium Drive and Sinclair Road. Access to the campus will be available at all entrances, and State University Drive East will be open. Traffic delays on the south end of campus should be expected during the evening of Friday, June 8 and the morning of Saturday, June 9.
From June 6-9, parking lots 7 and 8 and Parking Structure III will be used for event attendee parking. Sacramento State faculty, staff and students with a valid Sac State parking permit may access these lots, as well as all other normal lots on campus during the days of the competition. Faculty, staff and students wishing to purchase Sac State daily parking permits may also park in Lots 7 and 8, as well as Parking Structure III during these days, but must purchase daily permits prior to entering these lots.
