Choir to sing songs for the season

'Tis the season for the CSUS choirs to present the 17th annual holiday "Procession of Carols" concert. This Sacramento tradition will take place at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7 and 7 p.m., Sunday Dec. 8 at Sacred Heart Church, 39th and J Streets.

The event will include candlelit processions, various holiday readings, and brass and organ music to accompany new, as well as familiar, carols.

"I am looking forward to sharing this concert with the university community, and giving them the opportunity to join our choirs in singing holiday songs," says conductor Donald Kendrick.

Advanced tickets are recommended as this show has sold out in the past. Suggested ticket donation is $10 general and $5 students and seniors. Tickets are available at the CSUS Ticket office at (916) 278-4323 or at at (916) 766-2277.
