Employers Recruit Students at Annual Career Fair

The Career Center at California State University, Sacramento will host the Spring 2000 Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 24, in the University Ballroom. More than 100 private sector, government and non-profit employers will be on hand to discuss specific career opportunities with students.

Employers include local and national firms, as well as government entities. All sectors, from sales to insurance and from technology to health care, will be represented.

Students are encouraged to bring sufficient copies of their printed resume to hand to interested employers. They may also have their resume listed on line, either prior to the fair or the day of the fair, for employers to view. For information on the resume service visit the web site and look under "services to students" and "resume link." A full listing of employers attending the fair also is available on the web page.

Students attending should be prepared for "mini" interviews with employers. Students should dress as though they were attending a job interview and should be prepared to describe their employment interests, experience and preparation. For further information call the Career Center at (916) 278-6231.
