Sacramento State Strategic Planning
Planning for Sacramento State’s 2022 – 2027 strategic plan is underway. The plan will serve as a roadmap for the University, an important part of that is the perspectives, experiences, and feedback from the various stakeholder groups that make up our campus community.
The new strategic plan will guide us over the next five years, building on our position as a regional institution of higher education and an anchor in the region, ensuring we are serving the needs of students and are positioned for continued growth and success in the years to come. Our focus on student success; antiracism, diversity and inclusion; philanthropy; safety and well-being; and community engagement will be incorporated throughout.
Strategic Planning Committee
We have partnered with MGT Consulting, a firm with extensive experience in higher education strategic planning, to facilitate this planning process. A Strategic Planning Steering Committee, engaged members of the campus and broader Sacramento community, are working with MGT Consulting through this process. In addition, the process will be consultative – all members of our campus community are invited to participate and have their voice and perspective heard.
