The Art Ball is presented by the Art Department with the assistance of Sacramento State’s Alumni Art Chapter and began about 15 years ago as a reception for art graduates, says chapter director Florence Jones. About five years ago it branched out to include faculty, and keeps on growing.

“It’s become a wonderful, thriving campus wide celebration,” Jones says.

Many student pieces will be available for purchase and contact information for the artist will be provided.

“Come and spend some time celebrating our graduates’ accomplishments,” Jones says. “It will be a fun-filled evening.”
