Project HMONG offers a Peer to Peer Program to encourage student leadership, professional development and community engagement. The Peer to Peer Program is a great opportunity for students to cultivate their own leadership skills and abilities in the context to their culture and college experience while learning about the role of mentorship.

What does a Project HMONG Peer to Peer do?

  • Serve as peer advocate to promote the improvement of academic success, persistence and successful graduation of students.
  • Provide feedback on Project HMONG initiatives, assessments and reports to the campus and community.

In the Peer to Peer Program, you can receive exclusive opportunities:

  • Establish a network conducive for lasting collegial relationships with whom they can explore their identity and how it relates to their personal and professional success.
  • Networking opportunities with Project HMONG advisory committee and community role models.
  • Access to events, workshops and information on leadership opportunities and career resources available on and off campus.

We are looking for students who have a desire for personal and professional growth with a focus on community development. Participation is on a voluntary and rolling basis. Upon acceptance, participants will receive further instructions and details provided with confirmation.
