How I Work With Students

Welcome! My top priority is to create a safe and affirming space in which students feel accurately heard, understood, and supported. I collaborate with students to identify goals together, and then work to empower them to trust their own thoughts and feelings about what changes they might need to make. Throughout our work, I am mindful of ways in which systemic, contextual, and cultural factors may be impacting students, and hope we can explore this together. I recognize that different students need different things out of counseling at different points in their lives, so I try to be flexible to your needs and open to feedback about your experience.

Professional Interests

Group therapy, multicultural and feminist counseling, relationships and interpersonal concerns, issues related to identity, body image and disordered eating, and supervision and training.

Personal Interests

In my spare time my two small kids keep me pretty busy and also help me maintain my sense of humor. I enjoy hiking, reading, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and finding new places to explore around town.
