Leadership Initiative Step by Step

1. Log in to OrgSync with your SacLink username and password here: https://orgsync.com/cas/sacramento-state


2. Go to “Organizations” and then search for and join “Green Certificate”

3. Check the LI calendar to begin attending workshops and events

 Remember to check your OrgSync account regularly for updates

1. On the OrgSync LI page, there is a list of events you can view through the “Events” tab found at the top of the page.

2. Although you are not required to RSVP most through Org Sync to events it is strongly recommended as it allows us to quickly communicate any important updates about the event to you. Some events require pre-registration. View the event details for more information on how to pre-register. You MUST RSVP to certificate workshops (i.e Green Workshop 2, Gold Workshop 6) to guarantee a spot.

3. Check the Leadership Initiative Events Calendar regularly to find out about new events on OrgSync.

4. For the Green Certificate, you must attend events that meet the five Area of Growth categories.

5. Events are color coded and indicate the different categories, as listed, at the bottom on the event calendar page:
    a) Appreciating Diversity
    b) Campus Life
    d) Professional Development
    e) Service
    f) Wellness

In order to get credit for attending the event, you must sign in at the event on the Leadership Initiative sign in sheet or via card swipe. Any exceptions to this will be indicated in the event description. Check in starts 15 minutes before the start time of the event and ends 15 minutes after the start time of the event  (e.g. 10am event will have check in from 9:45am - 10:15am). Any exceptions to this will be indicated in the event description.

We provide a checklist for each certificate that can help you ensure you meet all of the requirements for each certificate level.

1. All your attendance will be logged and available for viewing on OrgSync by selecting ”Involvement” after clicking on your profile picture in the top right hand corner of the page.
