About Vaccine Challenge
About the Vaccine Challenge
Our campus is taking steps in maintaining a healthy environment to welcome students back into. That’s why the Student Health Center in The Well is now administering the Pfizer vaccine and Johnson & Johnson vaccine on campus!
In line with COVID-19 safety across all campuses, The White House and the U.S. Department of Education are inviting colleges and universities across the country to join them in an effort to end the pandemic by participating in your college’s vaccination challenge.
Now, we have prizes for students who are fully vaccinated from COVID-19 or plan to be by the start of the fall semester! See if you’re eligible to participate and be one of our lucky winners, below.

PEER Health Educators (PHEs)
Peer Health Educators (PHEs) actively promote health and wellness at Sac State, serving as an important connection between Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS) and the campus community. They encourage informed choices on a variety of wellness issues, provide resources and referrals, and promote a fun, healthy, and safe campus environment and student lifestyle.
In doing so, our Peer Health Educators will be a great source of guidance and information regarding safety and the COVID-19 vaccine. PHE’s will carry out this incentive through tabling events on campus and more. Stay tuned for more information regarding Peer Health Educator events and news.
