Faculty Jurors

The SRC hosts two events per academic year - the Fall Forum and the Spring Symposium. While the Fall Forum is not a judged event, we need jurors for the Spring Symposium to judge student posters and oral presentations. Faculty interested in judging the Spring Symposium, email student.research@csus.edu or visit us in Library 2026.

SRC Faculty Associates

SRC exists to broaden opportunities for students to collaborate with faculty on authentic research, scholarship, and creative activities. To that end, SRC works with faculty members interested in advancing the research community at Sac State. SRC offers two Faculty Associate appointments per academic year to promote the SRC mission. In addition, we are always looking for faculty volunteers interested in promoting authentic research, scholarship, and creative activities from all colleges and departments. For more information, email student.research@csus.edu or visit us in Library 2026.

Faculty Resources

Faculty Mentors help student researchers develop and execute original projects that prepare them for advanced study, graduate school, and employment in their field. Mentors work with students to advance general knowledge, prepare them for research, leadership and service careers, and disseminate research findings and creative activities.

SRC provides support for Faculty, with the help of ORIED, with grant writing workshops, mentorship tools and dissemination events. SRC Faculty Associates are also developing a new certificate program, Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR),  for research students, faculty and staff. More information coming soon!
