Writing Placement for Graduates (WPG) - Online Registration

Beginning in August 2010, graduate students must meet the new Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR). Students who began, but did not complete their GWAR process before August 2010 are given the option to complete the GWAR as previously outlined (before the end of Fall semester 2010) or opt into the new GWAR before advancing to candidacy. All other graduate students who have not already completed the GWAR process as graduate students by August 2010 will follow the new graduate-level GWAR.

For more information about the graduate-level GWAR and the WPG test, please contact the Writing Program’s Office located in Calaveras Hall room 103 or at 916-278-6409.

If you require special arrangements for testing, you must contact the Office of Services to Students with Disabilities (SSWD) at 916-278-6955. If we do not have an approved accommodations form by the registration deadline, your test registration will be cancelled and you may not receive the accommodations you need.
