This page is designed to discuss a little bit about me and my courses and link you with important resources and information. I am a Professor of Spanish in the Department of World Languages and Literatures and my area of specialization in Spanish is linguistics.
I am the Spanish Area Head and the Graduate Coordinator in Spanish. I also advise students about the Spanish BA and the Spanish minor.

Students taking the MA Comprehensive Exams must be enrolled in SPAN 500-Culminating Experience (3 units) and apply for graduation. To enroll in SPAN 500, you must download the form from the departmental webpage and have me review it.

The Advancement to Candidacy deadline for the Spring 2017 MA exams is October 1st. For Fall 2017 exams, the deadline will be February 1st, 2017.
MA Exam Dates, Times, and Location
The Fall 2016 MA exams will be given on Tuesday, November 8th, and Thursday, November 10th, from 10-11:30 and 1:00 to 2:30. Rooms TBD.
