Welcome to the Student Research Center!

Fall Poster and Creative Activity Forum

  • Undergraduates, graduate students, and recent alumni from ALL disciplines can participate
  • Exchange ideas, discuss new discoveries, and interact with like-minded individuals
  • We remove the financial burden by ordering and paying for all posters submitted by the deadline specified on the application
  • Participants choose their favorite poster

Sac State Student Research Workshops

Spring Symposium

  • Students share their research in a 10-minute oral presentation to the campus community
  • All students and disciplines are encouraged to sign up
  • 1st and 2nd place selected winners receive monetary award and are recognized at an award ceremony
  • Top 10 first place awardees are selected to compete in the Annual CSU Student Research Competition against all 23 Cal State Universities
  • New Competition Date Coming Soon

CSU-wide Student Research Competition

  • Top 10 first place winners in the Spring Symposium compete in annual CSU-wide Student Research Competition
  • Sac State CSU-wide competitors have the opportunity to have travel and lodging funded by the Student Research Center
  • 6 Sac State students placed 2nd and 3rd at the 2025 CSU Student Research Competition located this year at Cal Poly Humboldt.
