Welcome to the Student Research Center!

NOTICE: In accordance with Sacramento State Return to Campus Guidelines, beginning on August 16, the Student Research Center office located in Library 2026 will be open from Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The Student Research Center (SRC), an entity of Academic Affairs and the Office of Research, Innovation and Economic Development, exists to broaden opportunities for students to collaborate with faculty on authentic research, scholarship, and creative activities. We focus on both undergraduate and graduate student research opportunities, deliver professionalization workshops and offer opportunities for research dissemination.

Participate in Research & Creative Activities

Every academic year, the center hosts two campus-wide research dissemination events: the Student Research & Creative Activity Fall Poster Forum and Spring Symposium.

Now accepting applications for the 2021 Student Research and Creative Activity Poster Forum. Click here to learn more.

The Student Research Center invites applications for the 2021 Student Research and Creative Activity Fall Poster Forum. The purpose of the Fall Poster Forum is to give undergraduates, graduates, and recent alumni the opportunity to present their research and creative projects to the campus community in poster format. Submitted posters must be sponsored by a faculty mentor overseeing the work of submission. Each presentation is allowed an unlimited number of co-authors and presenters. This event is not a competition and the posters presented at this event will not be judged.

Date and Time: The poster event will be held in person on Friday, November 5 in Ballroom III, University Union.

Extended Deadline: October 27, 2021, by 5 p.m. Late applications cannot be considered.
