House Cat -- Feral Cat

One of the most common mammals on campus are feral domestic house cats; however, not all cats that are wandering around are feral. Recent GPS tracking of house cats show that regular house cats can travel substantial distances at night before returning to their homes, unbeknownst to their owners.
It has long been known that house cats, let alone feral cats, kill large numbers of birds, lizards, etc.
