Welcome to CSUS Reptiles
Where to see Reptiles on or near Campus
The side of the Greenhouses
"Bluebellies" can often be seen on the block walls of the greenhouses.
Snakes are most commonly seen on sunny days on the bike path. A snake will lie on the bike bath to absorb heat and sunlight to get warm (remember reptiles are ectothermic, meaning that they do not generate their own body heat internally, but instead must rely on the external environment).
