- Microwave Assisted Organic Synthesis (MAOS) directed towards the improved synthesis of a variety of heterocyclic compounds, including imidazoles, triazoles, dihydroquinoxalinones, and quinoxalinols
- Chiral MAOS in natural product synthesis
- Greener synthetic approaches to biologically active heterocycles
- Tandem cyclization reactions in the syntesis of azaheterocyclic compounds
