About Me

I got my Bachelors degree at University of the Pacific in Stockton (I won't say how long that has been). I went to law school at McGeorge and graduate school at Washington State University. Before law school, I worked in Washington D.C. as an Intelligence Analyst focused on international terrorism and international narcotics. Between law school and graduate school, I served as a prosecuting attorney in rural Washington state prosecuting misdemeanor crimes. As for hobbies, I started figure skating in college and skated competitively (at the beginning adult levels) until a few years ago. Once we get through this pandemic, I would like to go back and finish up some of my tests. I am also working toward getting my judges appointment to judge local skating competitions. I love listening to music from Broadway musicals, while I work. Unfortunately, can't hold a tune if my life depended on it.

On the chance that we have some dog lovers here, I should note that I am owned by two wonderful and spoiled rescue dogs, a miniature poodle named Pascal and an 11 lb mix of just about everything named Angel. They think this whole work-from-home thing was the greatest. I have taken to calling them my home office assistants. The best way to reach me or my home office assistants is via my email at smizrahi@csus.edu.
