EDTE 234 - Curriculum and Staff Development with Technology

Catalog Description:
Provides the student with an in-depth
understanding of the principles and processes of analyzing
curriculum for the purpose of integrating educational technology at
the classroom, school and district levels. Students will analyze
curricula, identify appropriate technology applications, and create
plans for establishing, monitoring, and evaluating technology-based
programs. Special emphasis will be placed on professional development.

Prerequisite and requirements: EDTE 232 or equivalent.

Number of Units: 3 units.

Students will need an e-mail account and computer access to the Web. All Sacramento State students enrolled in one or more units can create a SacLink account for e-mail. Although a home computer with Internet access running Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Netscape Navigator would be beneficial, students can access the Internet from one of the campus student labs.
